Cool Audio Productions is an award winning service specializing in audio post-production for theatrical productions. Services include dialogue and non-dialogue editing, mixing, custom sound design for audio special effects and custom scene cues and scoring elements.
The Artist...
The Artist/Engineer behind Cool Audio Productions is me, Michael L. Stokes. This production company was created when I began working on the post-production work for the award-winning Audio Drama, "HG World".
The Experience...
I have been recording, mixing and mastering audio drama productions, podcasts, audio books and musical artists since 2009.
The Vision...
My goal is to provide a collaborative, creative and inspirational approach to all aspects of post production for theatrical and musical projects.

All post-production work, first and foremost, has to serve the project. No amount of cleverness or whiz-bang technical know-how can ever replace finding the magic that breathes life into a project.

Creativity must be inspired...
Art should inspire strong emotion as well as entertain. Creating the perfect post-production elements for the final presentation can elevate a good show into a great show. Our goal is to create powerful mixes, sound effects and inspirational scoring elements that wring every drop of suspense, intrique, excitement, joy, etc. out of the recorded show elements.
Collaboration is essential...
We are at our very best when we collaborate throughout the life of the project. This is easily achieved through frequent communication, careful planning and detailed specifications.

I offer a variety of services, ranging from editing to mixing and mastering, as well as custom sound design for special effects, scene cues and scoring elements.
Scoring & Composing
From scoring elements to scene cue and trailers. My greatest passion is creating the perfect musical elements for theatrical presentations.
Sound Design
Whether it's a demon possession, a full-scale battle scene or a duel chainsaw wielding hero putting down a horde of zombies, I am experienced in creating highly detailed custom sound effects.
Editing & Mixing
My many years of post-production make me an ideal condidate as an editor and/or mixer for your production.
